Every can happen and sometimes it happens. I created this website for years and now almost everything got lost. The file backup and even the RAID 1 hard drive setup couldn’t protect me from it. The server latexperiment was running on is gone and the new server comes with a different data protection concept. The most important data, the payment data I saved differently so everything is still there. Your account, your payment history like before.
Now, what’s good about this event?
I could start from scratch and now the website runs much better in terms of performance. Also, the upload of the shoots is faster. Uploads I started beginning from new to old. So you get everything back online but first the newest shoots.
The video system got rebuild too. It’s now working much better especially for mobile devices.

Of course, all the old albums will be uploaded again. I thought it’s better to start with the recent first.
