Adding a Collector Layer to latexperiment
latexperiment has entered a new phase. Over the past months, the archive has been expanding again, older shoots are being uploaded, and new productions are already in post-production. The rhythm has become more consistent, and with that consistency came a structural decision. A new subscription tier has been introduced: Extended Premium. It builds on the existing Premium access and adds a physical component to the experience.
This change does not replace anything. It does not reduce access elsewhere. It simply introduces a clearer distinction between digital access and collector-level participation.
Why This Step Was Necessary
latexperiment has always been centered around carefully produced photography. Full sets in high resolution, 4K and 6K HDR files, Premium models, exclusive productions, behind-the-scenes material, and participation in project decisions have defined the Premium tier for a long time. That digital structure remains intact.
However, digital access has limitations. It allows immediate availability and global reach, but it lacks material presence. The work exists on screens and hard drives, but it does not exist in space. For some members that is sufficient. For others, it creates a distance between appreciation and ownership.
Extended Premium addresses this distinction by introducing a quarterly rhythm that aligns with how the project actually evolves. It is structured in 90-day cycles and includes everything from Premium, combined with one signed A5 gallery print per cycle. The print is personally selected from the current production body and produced as a physical extension of the work. The selection is intentional and tied to the development of the project at that moment.
This is not a promotional bundle. It is a collector structure.
The Logic of a Quarterly Cycle
Creative work unfolds in phases. Shoots are planned, executed, edited, refined, and then released. When viewed over time, these phases form a pattern. A monthly structure often feels transactional, while a quarterly structure allows development to accumulate and become visible.
The 90-day model reflects that process. It provides continuity and predictability without rushing production. It also establishes a rhythm in which digital access and physical output move together. The print is not an afterthought or a bonus item. It is a reflection of the cycle that has just been completed.
By aligning the subscription period with the creative cycle, the model becomes coherent. It supports planning on both sides, financially and artistically.
The Role of the Signed Print
The introduction of a signed gallery print changes the relationship between member and project. A digital file can be copied infinitely. A signed print cannot. It represents a specific moment within the broader development of latexperiment. It is selected, printed, signed, and shipped as a tangible artifact of that phase.
The format remains intentionally modest at A5. It is large enough to have presence, small enough to remain intimate. The emphasis is not on size, but on connection. A signed print introduces authorship in a direct way. It makes the work part of a physical environment rather than a digital archive.
For those who value that shift, Extended Premium offers a structure that supports it.
What Continues to Develop
At the same time, the core of latexperiment continues to grow. Older shoots are being uploaded, expanding the archive in a more systematic way. New productions are currently being edited and prepared for release. The pipeline is active and moving forward.
Extended Premium is not a reaction to stagnation. It accompanies renewed activity. It formalizes a deeper level of participation at a moment when the project is accelerating again.
A Clearer Structure
The subscription system now reflects three distinct forms of engagement. Basic provides focused access to the core archive and standard productions. Premium delivers complete digital access, including exclusive shoots, Premium models and participation in the creative process. Extended Premium builds on that and introduces the quarterly collector cycle with a signed physical print.
Each tier has its place. Each serves a different level of involvement. The distinction is no longer based on minor feature differences, but on the depth of participation.
Looking Ahead
Long-term projects survive when they evolve deliberately. Growth without structure leads to dilution. Structure without growth leads to rigidity. The introduction of Extended Premium aims to balance both. It strengthens the financial stability of the project while reinforcing its artistic identity.
latexperiment has always been built independently and continues to operate without automation replacing authorship. Every shoot, every selection, and every print remains intentional. The new collector tier is another step in that direction.
For those who simply want access, nothing changes. For those who want continuity and a tangible trace of the work’s evolution, a new option now exists.
The next cycle is already in motion. More prints in different sizes will come.
