latexperiment is GDPR-compliant

To the visitors and customer

The aim of the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is to improve the data privacy. In my opinion, not even for EU citizens only! It generally aims to make services with insufficient privacy protection accountable, which is a good thing. The new law will enter into force on May 25th, 2018.

Security and privacy protection have always been my guiding principles. Only small technical adjustments were necessary to meet the GDPR requirements. So you get more control over your data like your name and appearance when writing comments after you have registered yourself during the sign-up process.

After registration, you can enter your name and remove it at any time. You can set up a nickname in any form and you can choose how it will appear when you write comments on the blog or on any album. I hope you like my initiative to protect your privacy.

What’s important for me: latexperiment uses the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol that encrypts all traffic to and from you. Also, latexperiment uses only a limited amount of cookies and no 3rd party analytic tools like Google Analytics.
